Our company, SOP, was proud to take part in the National Meeting for the European Student Card Initiative (ESCI Day Italy) held at the Università per Stranieri di Perugia. At this event, we presented our two EWP compliant products, Mobility-Online and Mobility-Connect.

The event was organized by the Erasmus+ Agency INDIRE and held at held at the Università per Stranieri di Perugia, with contributions from DG Education and Culture, the GARR network and the Erasmus Without Papers Champions. Notable attendees included representatives from the European Commission, the Ministry of University and Research in Italy, the European University Foundation, CRUI, and the National Council for Higher Artistic and Musical Education.
The primary objectives of the ESCI Day Italy were to raise awareness about the European Student Card (ESCI) initiatives, the Erasmus Without Paper (EWP) initiative, and its processes, with support from the leadership of the institutions.
SOP actively contributed to the session "Supporting Italian HEI to Connect to EWP: On-going Work and Support," with Samuela Alosi and Inga Gerling presenting on Mobility-Online and its EWP compliance.
Our client, Università di Pavia, an EWP Champion, participated in a Panel discussion with EWP Champions: How is ESCI implemented in my HEI? In addition, Università di Pavia presented a session on Implementing IIAs: sharing experience from an EWP champion followed by Q&A.
The ESCI Day Italy was an important event that highlighted the joint efforts to improve international mobility processes through initiatives such as the European Student Card and Erasmus Without Paper. SOP remains committed to supporting higher education institutions in the effective implementation of these initiatives.
